João Baptista Borges, the Minister of Energy and Water, has been in the People’s Republic of China since June 17 and is expected to return on June 22. He is attending the 15th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) in Macau, which focuses on the theme “GREEN INNOVATION, DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY.”
In addition to participating in the forum, the minister is undertaking a comprehensive work schedule that includes high-level meetings and visits to the exhibition featuring Chinese companies, particularly those involved in the energy and water sectors.
Today, the minister visited the stand of SiNOMACH-CMEC, where he witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between GAMEK and SINOHIDRO. This agreement focuses on collaboration in developing power plants, transmission lines, and substations in Angola, aiming to enhance the country’s energy and water infrastructure.
