In recent years, the term “Deep State” has become a buzzword in the political landscape, often used to describe a secretive group of individuals who are believed to be working behind the scenes to manipulate and control the government. And while this concept may seem like something out of a spy novel, the recent revelations about the Deep State plot against President Trump have shed light on the very real and concerning actions of certain individuals within our government.
One of the most vocal critics of the Deep State is George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley. In a recent appearance on the Sean Hannity show, Turley discussed the latest developments in the ongoing Russiagate scandal and the media’s silence on the matter.
Turley, who has been a consistent voice of reason and objectivity throughout the Russiagate investigation, pointed out the glaring hypocrisy of the mainstream media in their coverage of the scandal. He stated, “If they cover this story, they are confessing their role in perpetuating the false narrative of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.”
And he’s absolutely right. For over two years, the media has been pushing the narrative that President Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. Despite numerous investigations and a lack of evidence, they have continued to peddle this false narrative, causing widespread hysteria and division among the American people.
But now, with the recent release of the Mueller report and the subsequent revelations about the FBI’s handling of the investigation, it has become clear that there was no collusion. And yet, the media remains silent, refusing to acknowledge their role in perpetuating this false narrative.
Turley went on to say, “The media has been largely silent on this story because it is a story of their own complicity. They have been pushing this narrative for two years and now they are faced with the fact that there was no collusion.”
It’s a sad reality that the media, whose role is to inform and educate the public, has instead chosen to push their own agenda and manipulate the truth. And while it may be tempting to dismiss Turley’s words as just another conspiracy theory, the evidence speaks for itself.
The recent release of the FISA applications and the Inspector General’s report have revealed the disturbing actions of certain individuals within the FBI and Department of Justice. From the use of unverified information to obtain surveillance warrants to the leaking of classified information to the media, it’s clear that there was a coordinated effort to undermine the Trump campaign and presidency.
But despite these revelations, the media remains silent. They have chosen to ignore the truth and continue to push their own biased agenda. And in doing so, they have lost the trust and credibility of the American people.
Turley’s words serve as a wake-up call to the media. If they truly value their role as the Fourth Estate, they must acknowledge their complicity in perpetuating the false narrative of Russiagate and start reporting the truth.
As for the American people, we must demand accountability from our government and the media. We cannot allow the actions of a few individuals to undermine our democracy and divide our nation. It’s time to put aside political biases and come together to hold those responsible for this Deep State plot accountable.
In the end, it’s not about political parties or ideologies. It’s about the truth and the integrity of our institutions. As Turley eloquently stated, “We have to look at this as Americans, not as Republicans or Democrats. We have to look at this as a threat to our system.”
It’s time for the media to break their silence and start reporting the truth. And it’s time for the American people to demand transparency and accountability from our government. Only then can we truly move forward as a united nation.
